- Getting a quote
How do I get a quote?
The quickest way is to WhatsApp 07852 290625 and tell us what you need doing. We’ll ask a couple of quick questions and advise the next steps.
Can you give a rough price from photos?
Sometimes, yes. Photos help us give a sensible ballpark, but we usually prefer a visit so we can go through everything properly and make sure the quote is accurate.
Do you offer free quotes?
Yes — for most jobs.
What info do you need from me?
Your address/postcode, what you want done, and your rough timescale (even if it’s flexible).
Do you provide a written quote and scope of works?
Yes — we set out what’s included so everyone is clear before the job starts.
Can you work to a budget?
Yes. If you tell us your budget range, we can suggest the best options (refresh vs full refurb, phased works, etc.).
- Timescales & booking
How soon can you start?
It depends on the diary and the size of the job — we’ll always be honest about availability.
How long will the job take?
Once the scope is agreed, we’ll confirm timescales and keep you updated throughout.
Can you work to a deadline (move-in date / tenant start date)?
We’ll always try to help where we can. Tell us your deadline upfront and we’ll be honest about what’s realistic.
Do you work weekends/evenings?
Sometimes (especially commercial work or urgent voids). Ask us and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Do you offer site visits?
Yes — for most jobs we’ll visit to make sure the quote is accurate, especially for refurbs and layout changes.
- How we work (the important stuff!)
Are you insured?
Yes — we have Public Liability (PL) and Employers’ Liability (EL).
Are you VAT registered?
Yes, we’re VAT registered.
Do you offer a guarantee?
We normally offer a 12-month workmanship guarantee, where applicable (it can depend on the job). We’ll confirm this with your quote.
Do you manage the job from start to finish?
Yes. We plan the job properly, manage the schedule, and keep you updated so everything runs smoothly.
Do you use subcontractors?
Where specialist trades are needed, yes — but we only use reliable subcontractors we know, and we manage the work and finish standards throughout.
Will you keep the property tidy?
Yes — we’re big on being clean and respectful. We keep things as tidy as possible while we work, and we do a proper clean-up at the end.
Will you keep me updated?
Absolutely. Clear communication is a big part of how we work — you’ll know what’s happening and what’s next. If you’ve got questions at any point, just WhatsApp us.
Are you the cheapest?
We’re not usually the cheapest — we focus on doing the job properly, with clear communication, tidy work and a reliable finish.
- Homeowners (common questions)
Do you do partial refurbs / room-by-room upgrades?
Yes — it’s a great way to improve your home without doing everything at once.
Can you help if I’m not sure what I need yet?
Yes. Tell us what you’re hoping to achieve and we’ll guide you.
Do you supply materials?
Yes — materials are included in your quote, unless we agree otherwise.
How do payments work?
For smaller jobs, we normally take a deposit (either materials cost or 25% — we’ll confirm which once the job is accepted), with the final payment on completion. For bigger refurbs, payments are usually staged — and this will be set out clearly before we start.
- Landlords & letting agents (voids + maintenance)
Do you do void turnarounds?
Yes — we handle void refreshes, repairs, making good, decorating, flooring and snagging to get properties ready to market again.
How fast can you turn a void around?

Can you work with key safe / agent access?
Yes. Just share access details, parking notes and any viewing deadlines.
Do you provide handover notes / snag lists?
Yes — we can provide a simple handover sheet and photos for your file.
Can you do void refresh packages?
Yes — we can price void refreshes based on site visit and scope, then book in quickly to get the property ready to market.
Do you provide photos for the agent/landlord file?
Yes — we can provide before/after photos and a simple handover note if needed.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance?
Yes — ideal for landlords and agents who want a reliable contractor they don’t have to chase.
Can you handle multiple jobs across different properties?
Yes — if you have ongoing work (voids/maintenance), we can organise it properly and keep things moving.
Can I start with a small job first?
Of course. Lots of landlords/agents start with one job so they can see how we work.
- Kitchens & bathrooms
Do you do kitchens?
Yes — from practical upgrades to full refurb support. Tell us what you want and we’ll advise the best route.
Do you do bathrooms?
Yes — refurbishments and upgrades with a tidy finish and proper snagging.
What if we find hidden issues once work starts?
Sometimes properties throw surprises up (especially older ones). We’ll explain the options and any impact on cost or timescales before we do anything extra.
- Practical bits
Do you remove waste/rubble?
Where needed, yes. We’ll confirm what’s included and arrange a skip if required (skip cost paid by the customer).
Do you cover my area?
We cover Merseyside (including Wirral & Liverpool) and can also cover Chester and nearby areas, depending on the job. It's always worth asking.
